Dive into the vibrant world of jewelry-making with this immersive weeklong workshop. Learn the fundamentals of powder coating alongside essential jewelry techniques, including using a jeweler’s saw to pierce metal, crafting custom sterling silver ear wires, and mastering basic soldering. Students will design and create a cohesive set of earrings and a pendant, selecting 3–4 shapes to develop bold, colorful, wearable pieces of art.

Throughout the week, students will be guided through cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components while exploring the creative possibilities of powder coating. Demonstrations will cover essential soldering techniques, both hot and cold connection strategies, and how to create professional-quality findings.

Additionally, students will learn to enhance their designs with intricate patterns and illustrations by drawing directly onto powder-coated surfaces using graphite pencils and Micron pens. Perfect for beginners or experienced jewelers looking to expand their skills, this workshop emphasizes creativity, technique, and thoughtful design.
